This week we are starting multiplication and division for maths.
We will be practicing our skip counting. Here is a video all about skip counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.

We have learning about time at maths time.
We are learning to:
* read and make hour times.
* read and make half hour times.
* read and order the days of the week.
* read and order the months of the year.

We are learning about addition and subtraction now. Miss Smyth is testing us to see where we are on the basic facts ladders and we are practicing our basic facts every week. We are getting lots faster at our facts!
MONEY
We are learning:
* To recognise NZ money.
* To skip count in 10s.
* That different coins have different values.
* To add small amounts of money.
* When we buy things we can give more money than we need and get change.
